We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to oversee and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical installations. You will be responsible for inspecting contractor work, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect electrical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legislation.
- Maintain detailed site records and inspection reports.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and testing of completed projects.
- Assist in project planning, contract management, and budget control.
- Provide technical advice on design, maintenance, and installation.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
- Review tenders, monitor contractor performance, and address defects.
What You’ll Need:
- HNC in Building Services, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, CCTV, door entry, lighting & power.
- Experience in site inspections, compliance checks, and contractor management.
- Ability to write technical reports and provide engineering solutions.
- Knowledge of building services regulations, British Standards, and contract management.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS clearance may be required.
