The Role
As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting mortgage advisers and ensuring a seamless mortgage application process for clients. You will be responsible for managing client documentation, liaising with lenders, solicitors, and third parties, and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers and ensure smooth case progression
- Manage mortgage applications from submission to completion, liaising with clients, lenders, and solicitors
- Handle compliance documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Track mortgage cases, update clients and advisers on progress, and proactively chase any outstanding requirements
- Ensure regulatory compliance, keeping up to date with industry regulations and lender criteria
- Use advanced fintech platforms to streamline mortgage processing and improve client outcomes
- Support process improvements within the mortgage administration team
- Assist with general office administration, data entry, and system updates as required
