We’re on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Panel Assembler to join one of our prestigious clients based near Keele! In this hands-on role, you’ll be assembling motor control panels, constructing panels from schematic drawings and layout diagrams. You’ll also progress into kiosk assembly, integrating control systems into cabinets and handling basic domestic mains wiring (full training provided).

What you’ll be doing:- Assemble control panels following layout diagrams and parts lists
- Track progress using parts lists and logs to ensure project completion
- Use hand tools safely and accurately
- Work closely with other departments to resolve any design or manufacturing issues
- Accurately log working hours on each job
- Assist in improving company procedures where possible
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies
Pay: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required:
- Essential: Experience in a similar production/manufacturing role
- Must have a valid UK driving licence
- Strong mechanical assembly skills
- Confident in the safe use of hand tools
- Desirable: Knowledge of control system functionality and components
- Ability to read schematic diagrams
- Relevant technical qualifications in production, manufacturing, or engineering
- Strong component recognition skills
