Supporting one of our key clients, we are seeking a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to support the technical team responsible for managing the leak within MSSS Original Building. This will include performing work and leading packages of work with the ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

  • Scoping and specification of technical work.
  • Leadership of specific work packages (could be internally or externally delivered).
  • NFR/report production and presentation.
  • Checking and review of other team members work.
  • Planning of future scope (e.g. transition from technical to design/projects).
  • Regulatory engagement on allocated work packages.

Qualification and experience

To be considered for the Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer role you should have most of the following:

  • Engineering or scientific qualification.
  • Chartership status.
  • Experience working in the Nuclear Industry.
  • Technical Assessment and Review.
  • Study Delivery.
  • Strategy Development.
  • Technology Development / R&D.
  • Plant Trials.
  • Early design delivery (Study and Concept phases).
