In the role you will learn how to install Post Mix Soft Drinks and Beer installations for our customers. Based from our LWC Eastbourne depot you will cover the local region, however some travel will be required to service, repair and refurbish equipment when required which can include our Andover distribution area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work and earn as you learn, and you will be fully supported throughout your apprenticeship, which would normally last 18 months following which you will continue into a permanent role at LWC.
Main Duties
- To work alongside senior Engineers out in trade and inhouse Workshop;
- To attend all Sessions as part of the Apprenticeship Scheme at the designated College as and when required;
- A company van, which is fully fitted out, is provided to enable you to carry out your duties and learn the role.
Key Skills
- The right candidate would possess a full Driving License to enable them to travel as part of the role;
- Flexible approach to working and learning;
- Good safety practices and driving habits, whilst wearing the correct equipment for your job when on site;
- Be able to operate in a busy environment;
- Good communication & teamwork skills.
Things to consider:
LWC will fund the apprenticeship program and support you with time off required for studies and learning. As part of an apprenticeship, you will be asked to undertake an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the course, which can include: A knowledge test / a portfolio-based interview / a project/Improvement presentation. This will be discussed further with you upon interview.
