We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to help drive the expansion of our government-funded and commercial training programmes in Apprenticeships and ASF Courses.
Role Overview:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in expanding our footprint in the Work-Based Learning and Skills sector. You will proactively identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and contribute to the promotion of Apprenticeships, Short Courses, and Commercial Training services.
Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the Work-Based Learning & Skills sector.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with employers, understanding their training needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Promote and drive sales of Apprenticeships, Short Courses, and Commercial Training offerings.
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to meet growth targets.
- Engage with local and national employers to identify opportunities for training delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of training programmes.
- Represent the company at networking events, employer meetings, and industry forums to increase brand visibility and foster new partnerships.
- Keep abreast of funding regulations and government initiatives to advise clients on available training solutions.
About You:
- Proven experience in Business Development within the Work-Based Learning & Skills sector.
- A natural business generator with the ability to build and convert new opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Strong understanding of government-funded training programmes, including Apprenticeships, ASF Training Courses, and Commercial Training.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a focus on long-term revenue growth.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to business development.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for employer visits and business development activities.
