This Quality Lead role is at the same level as the Site Manager, meaning technical is on parity with operations – you will all be singing from the same hymn sheet.
This global food business partners with leading manufacturers and the main retailers to provide innovation-led, exciting food products. There’s lots of potential to develop and grow your career in the UK or internationally.
Joining as their Quality Manager, you’ll be instrumental in driving the food safety culture across the factory. As a key member of the technical and quality team and the number one technical lead for this site, you’ll proactively manage relationships with customer technical counterparts. Your confidence and ability will extend to assisting on customer audits and visits, working closely with the Operations team to ensure quality systems and procedures are followed across the site.
We’re looking for experience within a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. A practical understanding of the retailer codes of practice and quality standards will ensure this site keeps its BRC AA accreditation.
This role is varied and broad and you will also be responsible for the team that runs the laboratory, so along with a Quality Technologist reporting in you will enjoy spending time in the factory and the laboratory.
