Macgregor Black is partnering with a FMCG Manufacturing business. This is a perm role based in West London. The Compensation & Rewards Specialist will support the effective delivery of compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards and collaborating with the HR team, this role will focus on implementing strategies to enhance employee experience and ensure compliance with key processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining reward practices, processes, and procedures, including supporting the annual salary and bonus review cycle.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive compliance, promote education, and share best practices.
  • Contribute to annual benchmarking exercises, using tools such as Korn Ferry and Mercer.
  • Oversee monthly benefit administration and produce accurate reporting.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and vendors to enhance the overall rewards strategy and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide support for the annual benefits renewal process, including evaluating new benefit proposals, integrating updates, and ensuring internal systems and communications are kept current.
  • Develop and implement wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with the Wellbeing Coordinator, creating plans and content for a comprehensive wellbeing roadmap.
  • Analyse compensation data to support business needs, including pay range evaluations and reporting on metrics such as gender and pay equity.
  • Act as a key point of contact for rewards-related queries across HR, payroll, and the wider business.
What are we looking for?
  • Practical experience with HR systems such as Workday and benefits management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of reward analytics and data interpretation.
  • At least two years’ experience in a compensation or total rewards role.
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using Power BI for data visualization.
  • Knowledge of gender pay and equity reporting practices.
  • Exposure to working within unionized environments or supporting union negotiations.
