The Role

Reporting to the Product Realisation Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Verification Technician to join our growing engineering team. You'll be responsible for testing software, conducting hardware tests, and managing the operation of lab equipment. This role can be based at our Colchester or Theale site (occasional travel may be required to the other site) on a hybrid basis working 37.5 hours.

What will I be delivering?

  • You’ll be part of a team testing the latest tech across hardware and software. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Testing cool technologies like Ethernet, PCIe, microcontrollers, and more
  • Running software and firmware tests to make sure everything works as expected
  • Using lab equipment to test hardware and electronic systems
  • Helping with environmental testing setups
  • Creating and running test plans
  • Working with engineers to find and fix bugs
  • Writing up test results and keeping things organised

  • Experience with Linux and basic programming
  • Some testing or verification experience
  • Knowledge of embedded systems or single board computers
  • Comfortable using lab tools like oscilloscopes
