We are working in partnership with an award-winning Tier 1 building contractor to recruit a highly experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a flagship £70m+ school build project in the Cardiff area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall delivery of a £70m new build school project from inception to completion
- Manage and coordinate a large project team, including site managers, engineers, planners, and commercial staff
- Report directly to the Regional Operations Director
- Oversee health & safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance
- Build strong relationships with the client, consultants, and supply chain
- Ensure timely delivery to the highest standards, within budget and programme
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager delivering complex new build schemes (ideally £30m+)
- Background in main contracting – Tier 1 contractor experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
- Track record of successfully delivering education or public sector projects is advantageous
- Relevant construction qualifications and certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid)
