We are delighted to be working in partnership with a prominent Scottish Charity to recruit an Electrical Works Manager based at the world-renowned Stirling Castle and the surrounding area.

About the Role:
As Electrical Works Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a skilled team of electrical tradespeople and contractors, ensuring that both routine and project-based maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
You\’ll work closely with the wider HES teams-from technical specialists to tourism and commercial colleagues-supporting the ongoing care, preservation, and presentation of the charities assets for the public and future generations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily deployment and supervision of electrical maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Managing preventative maintenance, heating and BMS systems, and signing off installation/test certificates.
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, toolbox talks, and site documentation.
- Supporting recruitment, staff development, and annual reporting.
- Providing technical input to projects and events, occasionally out of hours (paid overtime or TOIL).
- Participating in the on-call rota (approx. once per month) with vehicle and allowance provided.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Up-to-date knowledge of Electrical Regulations (18th Edition).
- Previous experience in staff supervision or team leadership.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety best practices.
- Proficient IT skills – especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
