A County Durham based accountancy firm is excited to offer a new vacancy for an Accounts Manager or Client Services Manager in their regional practice as they continue to enjoy a growing portfolio of clients. The Brief: As an Accounts Manager or Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services to a portfolio of clients whilst supporting the Partner group.

The Role: As primary contact for your portfolio, you will ensure all year end accounting complies with regulatory standards and your accounting knowledge will be put to good use answering client queries and nurturing those relationships, offering strategic financial guidance, and contributing to the growth of the firm. You will be responsible for working with and coordinating the accounts team to ensure assignments are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This will include addressing complex accounting and tax issues while ensuring regular communication and prompt resolution of queries.

Experience required:

  • Qualified Accountant: ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
  • Client Management experience: Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate the team, acting as a role model within the firm whilst exemplifying professionalism, integrity and a client-centric approach in all interactions
  • Diligent and proactive personality with a drive to provide the highest service levels to clients, identifying opportunities to provide additional services
  • Support business development initiatives, including client proposals and participation in networking, marketing and promotional activities
  • A valid right to work in the UK.
