We're looking for a highly skilled and personable Technical Consultant/Field Engineer to join one of our IT Managed Services Provider clients to lead the charge in delivering exceptional IT services for their 130+ clients across the Home Counties, London, and Bristol!
You'll be one of their technical champions to provide expert onsite technical consultancy to their diverse client base, tackling complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions. Implement cutting-edge technology solutions, from cloud migrations to infrastructure upgrades, driving client success and conduct thorough IT infrastructure and cybersecurity reviews, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic solutions, leading & delivering challenging technical projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
You will have proven experience in IT support and onsite consultancy, within a Managed Services environment, with strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID) and Microsoft Azure, including migrations. Experience with modern device management (WVD, Intune, Autopilot) and proficiency in managing on-premise server hardware and software (Exchange, Firewalls, antivirus, backups) and intermediate networking skills. Demonstrated ability to create project proposals, project plans, and IT/cybersecurity reviews as well as experience managing and delivering complex IT projects and upgrades. Technical qualifications like MCSA/MCSE or MCP are a plus.
The salary range would be between £40k and £50k - the role would involve travel (car or car allowance). You must live within 30/40 minutes of the office based in Southern Buckinghamshire and have MSP experience (if you don't have MSP experience, you will not be considered for this role).
