The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a responsible and proactive Caretaker to support the maintenance and upkeep of premises. This role involves carrying out minor repairs, ensuring a clean and secure environment, and assisting with general site maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment across all sites
- Identify, monitor, and report health and safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Oversee security operations, including locking and unlocking buildings when required
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently
- Set up rooms or facilities for events, meetings, and operational needs
- Assist with moving furniture, deliveries, and equipment as necessary
- Perform regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
Required Skills & Experience:
