Join Nextra Recruitment as Sales Manager - Temporary Recruitment Solutions and play a key role in driving the growth of our business within the temporary staffing sector. We specialise in temporary recruitment for security, logistics, warehousing, and industrial clients.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the field and on the phone, identifying and converting new business. You’ll be expected to manage your own activity, (prospects and pipeline) and produce regular reports, and take part in weekly meetings at our Borehamwood office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities, focusing on high-volume recruitment needs.
- Prospect at least 40 new potential clients weekly with structured follow-up.
- Arrange and lead face-to-face meetings with senior decision-makers.
- Build long-term client relationships and understand their ongoing recruitment challenges.
- Negotiate and close profitable deals with a strong commercial focus.
- Own and manage your sales pipeline, tracking and reporting on progress.
- Attend weekly meetings at our Borehamwood office to review pipeline and activity with management.
- Produce sales reports and forecasts with clarity and accuracy.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word to deliver polished proposals and presentations.
- Work closely with our recruitment and finance teams to ensure smooth client onboarding, working with our in-house and third party systems.
- Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong B2B sales experience, within recruitment or staffing solutions.
- Proven ability to manage and convert a proactive sales pipeline.
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a track record of working independently while staying accountable.
- Commercially astute, with an understanding of pricing and profitability.
- Highly organised with experience producing reports and presenting to management.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and flexibility to travel for client meetings. This is a non-negotiable.
- Willing to work from the Borehamwood office for weekly meetings and reporting.
