Business Development Manager – Insolvency Solutions

Location: Central London

Base Salary + Excellent Commission Structure

About the Role:

A rapidly expanding UK office of a global business is seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager – Insolvency Solutions. Over the past 12 months, the team has grown from 2 to 70 employees and recently moved into stunning offices in the heart of London. This dynamic business provides quick turnaround lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), & are launching a new solution helping businesses access much-needed funds to avoid administration to compliment their ever-growing product suite.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving new business, working closely with insolvency practitioners to introduce companies in financial distress who need urgent funding solutions, with a focus on supporting businesses to recover and continue trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with insolvency practitioners across the UK.
  • Proactively identify and convert opportunities for quick-turnaround lending solutions to businesses at risk of insolvency.
  • Work with insolvency practitioners to introduce companies in need of financial support, facilitating the lending process.
  • Drive the business development strategy and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and processes of our client’s lending solutions.
  • Be a key player in the ongoing growth of the UK office, contributing to its success and expanding its network.

About You:

  • Highly networked within the insolvency industry, or currently working within an insolvency practice.
  • A self-starter with the drive and gumption to get things done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A track record in business development, ideally within the finance or lending sectors.
  • Proactive, hardworking, and ambitious to achieve significant commission earnings.
  • Experience working with SMEs and ideally possessing an understanding of the challenges businesses face when dealing with insolvency.
