Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Hours: 40.25 hours per week

Salary: £12.24 per hour

Oakwood/Haywood House are supported living community services in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent city. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders to transition from mental health hospitals into a community setting. We are now recruiting for Team Leaders on a full-time basis. Our Team Leaders are essential for creating a strong foundation for us to develop a professional, safe and comfortable environment, delivering the highest quality, person-centred care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • The ability to provide direct, individual care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Confidence to successfully lead others and demonstrate a positive and motivating attitude at all times
  • The ability to deal with difficult/crisis situations with a high level of professionalism
