Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join an automated machinery manufacturer. The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will need to live in or around Sheffield, be willing to cover UK wide, and must have electro-mechanical service & maintenance experience.
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will carry out service, installation and breakdown visits on a wide range of automated machinery similar to packaging equipment.

- £38,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Role:
- Carry out pre-planned Service, Installation and Breakdown visits on a wide range of automated machinery electro-mechanical equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise machine
- Provide on-site training and service support to customers
- Diagnosing and repairing technical issues on electromechanical machinery
- Remotely based in or around Sheffield covering UK wide
- Full product training provided
Requirements:
- Experience as a Service Engineer, Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or similar maintenance role.
- Service / maintenance background - electro mechanical experience
- Prior knowledge of automated machinery, packaging machinery, or similar electro-mechanical equipment is beneficial
- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification - Apprentice trained, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND or would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexible for overtime/part of the on-call rota.
