We’re proud to connect people to clean water—and we’re looking for a proactive Process Technician to support our engineering team in delivering timely and cost-effective process improvements that drive operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Process Engineer with improvement projects and hands-on solutions.
- Carry out regular process measurements, including torque checks and time & motion studies.
- Develop, improve and maintain process equipment, jigs, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot routine process issues quickly and effectively.
- Liaise with departments and suppliers to drive business improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure best-practice health & safety procedures.
- Gather and analyse data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Document routine manufacturing processes and support with technical reporting.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- Time-served, ONC/HNC qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in process engineering, ideally within a lean manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Aware of HSE and quality standards.
- Strong organisational skills with a practical, hands-on approach.
Desirable:
- Experience with 3D CAD (preferably Inventor).
- PLC fault-finding skills.
- Robotics, pneumatics, and automation experience.
- Skilled in lathe and milling operations.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques and lean tools.
