We are working with a customer who is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with expertise in handling pallets and cages. Due to the nature of our customer's work, airport security clearance will take up to 2 months, so the initial two months will be driving a sprinter van. The candidate must be comfortable with this, and during this period, will be paid van rates.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's licence with 6 points or fewer
- Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence
- Valid CPC card
- Valid Tacho card
- Class 2 driving experience
- Proven experience in cage work
Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 2 vehicles for cage deliveries to airport lounges
- Work independently and confidently with various vehicles
- Ensure safe loading, transportation, and unloading of goods
- Handle the physical demands of the job and operate vehicles safely
- Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail
