We are working with a growing business that operates in the niche market of pet products, and is a well-known household name when it comes to dogs, focused on natural, nutritious and balanced food. They are looking to step up their commitment to trade shows around the country and need to bring someone into this newly created position to not only plan the events, but also manage the events team/brand ambassadors selling B2C. This is a brand new role for them, so a really exciting and influential time to join and really make a mark.
Responsibilities:- Create and manage a new programme of direct sales activity
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets
- Plan, organise and manage experimental events, activations, pop-ups etc.
- Lead from the front
- Recruit, manage and mentor a team of in-house sales specialists
- Experience working in direct sales within a D2C or B2C environment
- Proven success in establishing a new sales function
- Track record of driving sales through face-to-face engagements
