To support the Head Teacher in leading and managing the school as a member of the senior leadership team. All Depute Headteachers have leadership, self-evaluation and pupil responsibilities and will deputise for the Headteacher as required. All Depute Headteachers will assist the Headteacher in taking forward Clackmannanshire Council aims, and priorities of Education and the priorities within the School Improvement Plan.
Specific responsibilities of this post include:
- Leadership and Management of Learning, Teaching and Assessment.
- Leadership and management of professional learning and development.
- Academic monitoring and tracking of learning progression.
- Academic transitions.
- Reporting to parents.
- ERD, Professional update, Student and probationer teacher programme.
