Our client is a well-established company looking for a Handyperson/Maintenance Operative to join their team. This role will be based across various sites, carrying out a range of general building repairs and maintenance tasks.

As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across various sites.
  • Completing general building tasks, including joinery, tiling, painting, brickwork, paving, drainage, and plumbing.
  • Assisting with facilities support, such as furniture assembly, site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy.
  • Responding to out-of-hours alarm activations when required.
  • Ensuring all work follows health and safety policies, identifying hazards, and conducting risk assessments.
  • Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Recording all work completed in the internal PMR system.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A broad range of maintenance and repair skills.
  • The ability to work indoor and outdoor in varying conditions.
  • Basic IT skills (training on in-house systems will be provided).
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different tasks.
  • Strong teamworking and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 7am-3.30pm.
