Our client is a well-established company looking for a Handyperson/Maintenance Operative to join their team. This role will be based across various sites, carrying out a range of general building repairs and maintenance tasks.
As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across various sites.
- Completing general building tasks, including joinery, tiling, painting, brickwork, paving, drainage, and plumbing.
- Assisting with facilities support, such as furniture assembly, site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy.
- Responding to out-of-hours alarm activations when required.
- Ensuring all work follows health and safety policies, identifying hazards, and conducting risk assessments.
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
- Recording all work completed in the internal PMR system.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A broad range of maintenance and repair skills.
- The ability to work indoor and outdoor in varying conditions.
- Basic IT skills (training on in-house systems will be provided).
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different tasks.
- Strong teamworking and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
