Paralegal

Commercial Paralegal

My client is a large telecommunications company headquartered in London.

They are looking to appoint a Commercial Paralegal to join their proactive and collaborative in-house Paralegal team.

This is a broad and diverse role working closely with other divisions across the business including Marketing, Commercial and Corporate and Litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Working closely with stakeholders
• Assisting with the preparation, drafting, negotiating and review of contractual documents, such as master service agreements, marketing incentives, wayleaves, software agreements, supplier agreements and data processing agreements
• Assisting with developing and implementing business processes and training
• Undertaking legal research

The ideal candidate

• Educated to degree level or equivalent (including relevant CILEx Diploma)
• Experience working as a paralegal (private practice/ in-house)
• Strong commercial contracts experience is essential.
• Experienced in running your own matters
• Experience in the Telecommunications sector or experience working on commercial, procurement or property transactions
• Familiarity with the obligations and impact of the UK Data protection regime
• Understanding of process design or implementation, template creation and developing efficiency
