AV Commissioning Engineer
Location: RoystonSalary: £40,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Role Overview:
The AV Commissioning Engineer will be primarily commissioning focused but will play a varied role spanning across installing, servicing and commissioning AV solutions for meeting rooms and universities.
The role would be covering the UK with a primary focus on Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead installation teams on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Install AV equipment, including brackets, screens, vc systems, speakers, amplifiers, microphones etc.
- Assembly of AV racks both on and off site.
- Configure and commission AV systems for functionality and quality assurance.
- Control system and DSP programming.
- Conduct service calls to resolve issues or perform system updates.
- Collect and organise equipment from the warehouse for scheduled installations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements.
- Report progress and issues to the Installation Manager.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in AV installations.
- Knowledge of AV controls and systems, such as: QSC, Extron, Biamp, Crestron, BrightSign.
- Proven experience in programming Crestron or QSYS systems.
- Valid driving license (essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work extra hours where required
