Gemini People are working with the UK’s leading manufacturer of high-performance silencers and noise control solutions who are looking for a Trainee Welder to join their growing production team. This is a hands-on, full-time opportunity for someone who wants to build a solid career in fabrication and welding, working in a niche and thriving sector.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the fabrication and welding of industrial silencers, steam vents, and turbine exhaust components.
  • Working alongside an experienced welder to develop your technical skills.
  • Assisting with general labouring and shop floor duties.
  • Fitting and assembling manufactured parts and components.
  • Learning to interpret engineering drawings and follow production processes.
  • Maintaining workshop safety and cleanliness standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Eagerness to learn a skilled trade in a specialist engineering environment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience with stainless steel is advantageous but not essential.
  • A hands-on, practical mindset and the ability to follow instructions.

Pay & Working Hours:

Starting off at £13.00 p/h increasing dependent on performance. Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00.
