Are you a commercially focused Health, Safety and Compliance Manager looking to make a real impact? This is a newly created role within a growing business, offering the opportunity to shape and lead all aspects of health, safety and compliance while supporting scalable growth.
As Health, Safety and Compliance Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing policies, conducting risk assessments, managing RAMS and ensuring legal and client compliance. But this isn’t just about ticking boxes - you’ll work closely with the leadership team to identify risks and deliver practical, commercially sound solutions that protect the business and unlock operational efficiencies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and embedding H&S frameworks across all areas of the business
- Conducting site inspections and maintaining a company-wide risk register
- Creating RAMS using HandsHQ and ensuring sign-off with all parties
- Managing ISO accreditations (9001, 14001, 45001) and audit readiness
- Completing client documentation, including supplier set-up forms
- Using Trainual to implement scalable SOPs and policies
- Supporting a culture of safety-first, commercially smart working
What we’re looking for:
- IOSH qualified (NEBOSH or equivalent desirable)
- Experience in a similar H&S/compliance role, ideally in construction or subcontracting
- Strong commercial acumen and decision-making ability
- Confident communicator with leadership and influencing skills
- RAMS/HandsHQ experience is a plus
