Job Description Role: Grid Engineer Location: London Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 based on experience Working Arrangement: Flexible Hybrid Working Comanos is working with a client who develops large scale solar, BESS and wind power plants across the UK. They are well capitalised with a rich project pipeline, and they are looking for an exceptional Grid Engineer to support their head of grid development and liaise with management and the land acquisition team to secure grid capacity for large-scale solar, wind, and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects. Required Skills and Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree (a master’s in Power systems a plus) 2-3 years UK experience in a technical grid connection role related to electricity projects. Must have experience working on renewable energy projects (ideally solar, wind and BESS) Experience compiling applications of Grid Code/ENA G99 and dealing with DNOs. Great communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders, network operators, and grid specialist consultants.
