About the Role
Doncaster Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Emergency Alarm Response Team Responder to join our vital community-based service on an initial 3-month temporary contract, with the potential for extension. This rewarding role involves responding to emergency alarm activations from vulnerable residents across the borough, ensuring they receive timely support, care, and reassurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency alarm calls in residents’ homes.
- Provide immediate support, assess needs, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with emergency services, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Complete clear and accurate reports following each incident.
- Support residents with compassion, dignity, and respect at all times.
Working Pattern
3 days on, 3 days off rota
Shifts are either:
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
