We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Kedleston Hall, an extravagant 18th century mansion designed by architect Robert Adam. You will report to the General Manager and lead the facilities and business services team of five, who strive to ensure Kedleston delivers the best possible experience for visitors, volunteers, and staff.
Kedleston Hall is renowned for its internationally significant art and architecture, surrounded by 800 acres of spectacular parkland. With visitor numbers increasing to over 210,000 per year, Kedleston is a growing visitor business with ambitious plans for investment to support further visitor growth.

As our Facilities Manager, you will lead and manage the facilities and business services team of five people, ensuring the site runs smoothly and maintaining high standards throughout all areas visited by people, including staff and volunteers. You will lead on compliance across the property to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
With your team, you will ensure that all facilities and services are well maintained. You will also form strong links with your fellow heads of department and work together to improve things and use resources efficiently. You will be leading all planned preventative, reactive, and small maintenance projects across the estate and be involved in the day-to-day running of capital works projects. As part of the duty manager team, you will also be on rotas as a duty manager throughout the year.
