An established and well-respected UK law firm is looking to add a Senior Paralegal to its Property Litigation team, focusing on residential possession work for landlords. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in housing litigation who is ready to take ownership of a high-volume caseload and work with major clients across the private landlord and insurance sectors.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Acting on behalf of private landlords and insurance clients
- Managing cases involving assured shorthold, assured, Rent Act, and common law tenancies
- Handling all aspects of residential possession proceedings, from initial instruction through to court representation
- Advising clients on procedures and legal requirements for recovering possession
- Liaising with courts, clients, and third parties in a professional and efficient manner
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential possession work (landlord side)
- Sound knowledge of possession proceedings and tenancy law
- Experience in handling high-volume caseloads
- A Law Degree, LPC, or CILEX qualification (or working towards it) is preferred but not essential with relevant experience
- Excellent client care, organisation, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
