Role Purpose: A highly experienced Senior Business Analyst is required to lead and support a critical Netsuite implementation project. The successful candidate will focus on data migration, complex system integrations, and Netsuite configuration. Working closely with both business and technical teams, this individual will drive the successful delivery of solutions within a pragmatic and agile framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy and Governance: Develop and lead the overall data migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and minimal disruption. Establish and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to maintain high data quality and integrity. Lead data profiling and analysis, defining remediation plans to address data quality issues. Oversee the design and implementation of data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Integration Architecture and Design: Define integration architecture for connecting Netsuite with other enterprise systems. Lead the design and development of complex system integrations, considering data volume, frequency, and security. Select appropriate integration technologies and tools (e.g., middleware, APIs, ETL processes). Provide technical guidance and support to the integration development team.
- Netsuite Configuration and Customization: Offer expert-level guidance on Netsuite configuration, customization, and SuiteScript to meet specific business needs. Analyze complex business processes, identifying optimization and automation opportunities within Netsuite. Oversee the development of custom workflows, forms, and reports in Netsuite. Ensure that Netsuite configurations adhere to best practices, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Agile Delivery and Project Leadership: Lead business analysis activities in an agile project environment, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder demos. Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Identify and manage project risks and issues related to data, integrations, and Netsuite configuration. Mentor and support junior business analysts.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, building relationships and managing expectations. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and validate business requirements. Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders at all levels. Influence decision-making and drive consensus among stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience (8+ years) as a Business Analyst, with a strong record of successfully delivering Netsuite implementation projects.
- Expertise in data migration, integration architecture, and Netsuite configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of Netsuite modules, data models, and customization (including SuiteScript).
- Experience with integration technologies and tools (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP, middleware platforms).
- Proficient in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise systems.
