We are searching for an Machine Learning Researcher (NLP, LLMs) to join a Series A startup on a mission to modernise outdated financial infra! They\’re using cutting-edge tech to build smarter, faster systems that rethink how finance works from the ground up. This collaborative, forward-thinking team, are building powerful, AI-driven solutions using open-source LLMs, replacing outdated systems with sleek, scalable tech within Asset Management.

Based: Remote

🔍 What You’ll Do

• Lead NLP research, focusing on LLMs and code understanding
• Run experiments, apply research, and build internal benchmarks
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to research publications

👀 What We’re After

• Master’s/PhD in CS, Data Science, or similar
• 3–5 years in NLP (e.g. NLU, sentiment analysis)
• Strong Python + ML stack (PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.)
