Driver Hire Reading are looking to recruit a Category D1 Minibus driver to work with our client based in Whitley. This role will involve split shifts, the first being in the morning to take the children to school between 7am-9am, and the second in the afternoon to then return them home at the end of the school day between 3pm-5pm.
As this is a school run, applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check. Working week will be Monday - Friday, morning shift 7am-9am and afternoon shift 3pm-5pm. All work is during school term time only.
The pay rates on the Advanced PAYE model for this role will be as follows:
- £17.00 Basic rate (this rate includes holiday pay)
The position is set to begin in April after the Easter Holidays, and as such applications will need to be received no later than the 5th April in order to allow sufficient time for DBS checks and inductions to be carried out.
Suitable candidates will have the following:
- A full and valid UK driving licence (with D1 entitlement).
- Previous commercial driving experience.
- Attainable references in a driving capacity.
