Fibre Surveyor Glasgow, Scotland Contract: per day (Open to rates) Tasks: You will play an integral role in the successful design and installation of fibre networks into commercial and residential properties, entrusted to see that fibre networks meet the needs of customers and work efficiently and safely. Surveying UG and OH networks and provide planning solutions using both UG and OH infrastructure and creating A55 documents. This is a field-based role and has extensive travel throughout the region, car supplied. There is a 40 hour working week Monday to Friday, with overtime as required. Required experience: At least 1 year’s surveying experience. Experience creating A55 documents. At least 2 years’ working and having a broad knowledge of telecoms industry. Knowledge of the Openreach Network. Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Full UK Driving Licence. Ability to read technical drawings. Excellent communication skills and a pro-active attitude. Adaptable with the ability to respond well to change and maintain flexibility while keeping focus on objectives, and meeting deadlines. Certifications required: SA001 & SA002. SA005 & SA006.
