Airswift are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated ELV Engineer to oversee the installation, subcontractor management, and quality assurance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. The successful candidate will ensure that all ELV systems are implemented in compliance with UK (England and Wales) standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems, including but not limited to:
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Security & CCTV Systems
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address & Voice Alarm Systems
- Data & Communication Networks
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering (or a related field).
- Proven experience in ELV system installation, commissioning, and quality management in large-scale MEP projects.
- Must-have: Extensive knowledge and experience with ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems and their integration in building projects.
- Strong understanding of UK (England and Wales) electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring QA/QC compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and oversee multiple aspects of the ELV systems implementation.
- Required: Valid work permit to work in the UK (England and Wales).
Working Conditions
- Work schedule: 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- 1-hour lunch break daily.
