We are looking for a Room Leader to work in a nursery based in Bristol. The salary is up to £30,000 depending on qualifications and experience. There are some great benefits such as training, vouchers, childcare discounts and annual pay increases.
You must be qualified to Level 3 or above in Childcare & Education and have previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Nurse and have experience leading a team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, you get 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
You will promote high standards of quality within the nursery and support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties. You will deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms. You will ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keyperson procedures and allocate children to keystaff appropriately. You will ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
You will provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child and promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers. You will develop open and positive working relationships with staff and ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers.
