Russell-Taylor Group have multiple opportunities for Analytical Chemists to join our Pharmaceutical Analysis client in Cambridgeshire. Our client is recruiting for a number of junior and senior analysts with experience in LCMS or HPLC; GMP is not essential for this role. Roles are available for people who already have method validation and development experience, but also more junior candidates can apply as you will be trained and developed in this area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical techniques such as HPLC and LCMS.
- Develop, validate and implement analytical methods.
- Conduct analysis on pharmaceutical products.
- Follow specified methods and help to write up reports.
- Communicate with clients for standard requests, but with support of the team manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Keep accurate records of laboratory results and updating SOPs as needed.
The Person:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Scientific subject.
- Previous industrial based experience is a must (HPLC, LCMS).
- Experience in the analysis of pharmaceutical products (desirable).
- Experience of method development and validation would be advantageous.
- Experience working to GLP or GMP.
- Previous experience of problem solving and working in a fast-paced environment.
