The Leisure and Entertainment Sales Manager is the smiling face of The Ned London to international businesses looking to book their guests with us. With a particular focus on North America, you’ll be building relationships and sharing insights into the destination, hotel rooms and facilities.
As part of the Sales and Events team you will:
- Be responsible for securing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and delivering to budget our TI goals.
- Regularly travel to attend events and expos in key markets, where you’ll showcase The Ned London’s spaces and facilities to business leaders in the leisure and entertainment sectors.
- Make regular sales calls, site inspections, and entertain clients so they can see what we have to offer.
- Assess your accounts to maximise revenue potential.
- Negotiate rates with clients and follow up on all proposals and requests for proposals.
- Compile and analyse month end reports, implementing action plans to improve our market share penetration.
- Define and implement the Entertainment and travel industry sales strategy.
- Research new opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate companies/organisations likely to produce business for the hotel.

- Rapport building skills are the core of this role, you’ll be showcasing The Ned to decision makers, so every interaction is crucial to build on The Ned’s reputation.
- Entertaining existing and potential partners will be a regular part of the day to day so you’ll have a fantastic personality and understand that there will be some evening and weekends needed.
- You’ll have great all-round proactive sales knowledge and a knack of converting enquiries into confirmed business, and you will be highly organised, results-driven, and adaptable to the evolving needs of the business.
- An existing network of clients, particularly in Leisure, Entertainment, and/or North America would be extremely advantageous.
