SRG are working with a leading pharmaceutical company in Glasgow, with a mission to provide innovative solutions to their clients and act as an innovation catalyst. They are now recruiting for a Validation Engineer to join their expanding team, and can offer a salary up to £45,000, alongside the opportunity to see work within a scientifically driven, collegiate team. Their collaborative team is tight-knit and put science and inclusivity at the centre of everything they do. They pride themselves on their open-door culture, clean laboratory facilities which leads to an average employment term of 13 years. This is an exciting opportunity to join their vibrant and talented team of engineers and play a key role in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. Role and responsibilities: Develop, review and execute validation protocols and reports for pharmaceutical processes, equipment, facilities and systems. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental, Good Manufacturing Practice, Data Integrity, Quality and best practice requirements. Conduct validation studies, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and also some process validation, cleaning validation and computer system validation. Perform risk assessments related to validation activities. Document management. Academic background and experience: A higher education qualification in a life science, scientific or engineering subject. A passion for problem solving, delivering results and continuous learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills so you can be an effective team member across diverse teams and geographies. Over a years experience as a Validation Engineer.
