Hours: Full-time, permanent (average 42 hours per week, 2 day shifts 2 night shifts and 4 off)

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and resourceful General Operative with good communication skills to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham.
About the role:
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance as directed, responding to incidents to minimise disruption, and working closely with the client. This includes overseeing contractors, maintaining records, identifying material needs, and building relationships with client representatives.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing on-site contractors.
- Performing planned and reactive maintenance.
- Responding to defects, faults, and client requests.
- Maintaining records and producing simple reports.
- Identifying material requirements.
- Developing and maintaining contact with client representatives.
- Adhering to security policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- DIY or semi-skilled handyman abilities.
- Good English language skills.
- General understanding of plant and equipment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Basic IT skills, including email and calendar use.
- Previous experience in general facilities management or maintenance.
- Ability to obtain DV clearance.
