Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build complex UHV systems in line with detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out specialist UHV-compatible wiring and electrical testing procedures.
- Maintain strict cleanliness standards in line with UHV cleanroom procedures.
- Record pre-test data and perform QC evaluations throughout the assembly process.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by writing and updating manufacturing guides and documentation.
- Maintain accurate departmental records including test data, serial numbers, and quality control logs for traceability.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in assembly β Mechanical and/or Electrical.
- Resilient under pressure with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Comfortable working to tight production schedules and deadlines.
- Basic IT skills (MS Office).
- Self-motivated, organised and punctual.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or higher (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience considered.
- Previous experience in a high-tech cleanroom or engineering environment is advantageous.
