As a Hospitality Coordinator at Sodexo in Royal Stoke Hospital, Stoke-On-Trent ST4 6QG, you will help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu whilst ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. What you'll do:
- Support food prep and storage in line with specifications and Sodexo standards
- Ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
- Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards per Sodexo policy
- Deliver high customer service, using feedback and survey results
- Operate and declare the till, ensuring accurate revenue capture
- Attend monthly training, appraisals, and competency checks
- Maintain stock rotation to minimize waste and spoilage
- Upsell products and assist with management duties for smooth operations
What you bring:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing food/retail business also food preparation and service experience
- Level 2 Food Safety preferable
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels as well as good numeracy skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills, ability to work well under pressure
- Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
