Are you a chef looking for the next step in your career? We are recruiting for a Sous Chef who has drive and passion and is able to support the Head Chef in delivering our brand standards.

Set in beautiful 25 acres of land, Doubletree by Hilton St. Annes Manor, Wokingham is a stunning property only 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The hotel has 170 bedrooms and 8 meeting rooms including the St Annes suite which can cater for up to 250.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Are you someone who is totally customer focused to consistently deliver excellent service with an informed, friendly and effective approach?
  • Do you possess excellent communication skills, can you work on your own initiative and do you have a genuine desire to work in the hospitality industry?

As a Sous Chef you will:

  • Be highly motivated, positive and talented
  • Be able to take the lead in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Be computer literate and be responsible for stock and order for the department
  • Have a passion for service and presentation in everything you do
  • Enjoy training so the team is as good as they can be
  • Ensure you and your team have the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety

Level 3 Food Safety would be an advantage.
