- Engaging with a team of professional drivers operating 7 days a week (early starts, no nights).
- Liaising with workshops to maintain vehicle safety, LOLER checks, and planned maintenance schedules.
- Conducting driver debriefs that are meaningful, ensuring accountability and adherence to legal requirements.
- Preparing for internal and external audits, ensuring every site is inspection ready.
- Working with planners to ensure robust delivery schedules are adhered to.
- Manage checks and controls to uphold fleet safety and reliability collaborating with vehicle maintenance service providers to minimise downtime

- ADR certificate or experience with hazardous goods
- Proven experience as a dedicated Transport Manager, ideally across multiple sites.

- Formal safety qualification IOSHH, NEBOSH
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel especially) and familiarity with fleet systems like TrakM8 and TruTac.
- Experience managing multi-drop operations.
- Background in regulated industries or high-compliance environments.
Why This Role?
- Fix real issues – The South West region needs strong transport leadership, and you’ll be making an immediate impact.
- Multi-site autonomy – You won’t be tied to one location; you’ll have the scope to implement best practices across four sites.
