Solar Design Engineer – Utility Scale Solar & BESS

Our client, a leading renewable energy developer, is seeking two skilled engineers to join their growing team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the design, optimization, and execution of large-scale solar PV and renewable energy projects.

The Role:

• Develop technical designs and optimize layouts for solar PV projects.
• Lead or support technical due diligence and lender advisory processes.
• Oversee grid connection approvals and compliance with industry standards.
• Support tendering, contract evaluations, and project execution.
• Conduct on-site verification to ensure quality and performance.

What You’ll Need:

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).

Experience with utility-scale solar projects and technical due diligence.

Proficiency in solar PV design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD, PVCase).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
