Assistant Surveyor

TEXO are looking for an Assistant Surveyor to join our DSI team located in Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced Surveyors and UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) Pilots on high-profile substation projects, contributing to the 3D capture of critical infrastructure across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser scanners for 3D data capture
• (Desirable) Operate total stations for control network observations
• Support UAS Pilots with aerial data collection
• Adhere to TEXO DSI data management protocols
• Follow survey specifications and project procedures
• Help maintain safety standards and support team members onsite

Requirements:

• Surveying qualification – Desirable
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role – Desirable
• Laser scanner operation experience – Essential
• Total station operation experience – Desirable
• CSCS card – Desirable
• Full UK driving license – Essential
• Willingness to travel and stay away, including weekend work – Essential
