Monday – Friday days regular 7.00 until 4 Monday to Thursday and 7 to 11.45 on a Friday. Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Logistics Coordinator to work for a company based in Pontypool on a full time, permanent contract. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Co-Ordinate the booking of inbound and outbound freight ensuring a spread of workload to manage each shipment in a timely manner. Coordinate inbound road freight. Communicate with Ocean freight companies to ensure a timely, seamless receipt of container traffic. Create Inbound Shipments, Customs Clearance Documentation and ensure all relevant paperwork is collated with the Freight Company. Interact with other departments who impact on this process. Raise Limited order numbers to process Freight payments. Verify pricing on all shipping documents. Book all outbound freight. Ensure smooth timely dispatch to customer. Ensure outbound paperwork and labels are in place prior to loading. Provide KPI data and report on transport performance. Ensure traceable records are kept.
