What you\’ll be doing:

• Leading, coaching and motivating your shift team to meet safety, quality, and production targets
• Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently
• Driving a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards
• Identifying and delivering improvements in processes, energy use, waste reduction and team development
• Championing a \”right-first-time\” mindset and embedding a continuous improvement approach
• Collaborating with wider site leadership to achieve business objectives and drive performance
• Taking responsibility for HR matters, team performance and development
• Acting as a key contact and decision-maker when deputising for the Production Manager

What we\’re looking for:

• A proactive leader with proven supervisory or managerial experience
• Operational experience in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Skilled at building relationships, resolving conflict and fostering team collaboration
• Confident using IT systems and data to drive performance
• IOSH Managing Safely, IEMA, or other relevant qualifications are a bonus – but not essential
• Flexible, self-aware, and always looking for smarter, safer, more efficient ways of working
