Job Description We’re looking for a highly motivated sales professional with a bias for action and a desire to get out from behind their desk to meet customers and make things happen. If you’re ambitious, energised by the prospect of achieving a sales target and hungry to be paid for your success, keep reading. What you’ll do Identify new customer prospects, their projects and decision makers Establish contact and build networks and relationships face to face Seek out projects and secure opportunities to quote Lead negotiations and close high-value deals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and delight customers Act as the eyes and ears of the business, as you monitor market activity and stay alert to opportunity What we’re looking for A tenacious can-do attitude with an ability to seek out and win new business Proven experience in an out-and-out Sales role Experience of selling specified products, ideally joinery based, into the UK Construction market Familiarity with desk based research tools such as Barber ABI Resourceful by nature. You always find a way! A people person, you have the confidence to use the gaps between appointments to visit construction sites, make new contacts and seek out leads
